The gift that keeps on giving: Salt & Pepper’s HUGE font bundle.

As some of you may know, I’m not a huge fan of bundles, unless they come from Design Cuts.

There are many reasons for my disdain for font bundles, like the filler that gets thrown in to pad out most collections and the preoccupation of most bundle curators with cursive script fonts, of which you can definitely have too many, unless you’re a full-time wedding invitation designer.

However, the bundle I’ll be sharing with you today is not like other bundles. This one contains mostly gems, with only the occasional meh selection; and even that is up to taste.

What is clear is that this is not a soulless, thrown-together bundle. The fonts in this collection have been clearly designer with care, and it shows.

In addition to that, this is the only bundle I’ve ever purchased that has more fonts CONSTANTLY being added to it. Every week or two, I get an email that a new font has been added.

What is this font I’ve been praising for the past 16 lines, you say? READ THE TITLE, doofus. Or, alternatively, click HERE to visit its page.

While the bundle contains all kinds of typefaces for all kinds of situations, it has to be said that it has a predilection towards the whimsical and twee.

Do I have favorites? You bet I do. I’ll mention three. Okay, four:

  1. Wild & Folk is a gorgeous display serif.

  2. Magical is a wonderful mid-century style wonder.

  3. Whale Of A Time is the best. Period.

  4. Wavepool is such a smart, well-designed little font.

Interestingly, I used a fifth font from the bundle (The Flight) for today’s example.
