Alt Foundry Rogue: a cheap, impactful display font

If you read yesterday’s post, then you know that I accidentally discovered Alt Foundry and their amazing shop of type wonders.

Well, after writing that post I took the plunge and put my money where my mouth was (it tasted terrible). After I washed my mouth with corona-extinguishing mouthwash, I scanned through their shop and decided that Rogue looked awesome so I went with that.

Rogue is a powerful sans display that’s perfect for sci-fi, logos and headlines. Just to be contrary, I decided to create a flowery little design with it:

Now, it’s Friday and you know what that means! Yes, unhinged partying, fuelled by cocaine and body shots from the bellybuttons of prostitutes! But also, Free Font Friday!

For that reason, I have contacted the foundry’s, er, founder to ask if he could help with me purchasing the typeface and licensing it out to one of my lovely subscribers. He still hasn’t gotten back to me, which, y’know, I can’t blame him.

But if he does, know that I’ll be giving Rogue out to this week’s lucky subscriber! If he doesn’t, I’ll still send out a prize, I just don’t know what it’ll be yet.

Arriverderci!

You can purchase Rogue HERE.
