Gatha by Khaiuns: a brand-new free font duo

Here’s something you should know me, in the form of a meme

In case you think that Gatha is going to be the exception, the one that breaks the mould so to say, think again.

The fact remains that, as much as I love its sans component, I couldn’t care less about the script part. That’s not the typeface designer’s fault, mind you. That’s just me being the quintessential script font hater.

However, since my gastroenterologist has asked me to try and be a better, more tolerant person (don’t ask) I tried doing something using both the sans and the (gasp!) script fonts.

Gatha is a lovely font, but the fact that it’s offered for free means that you should absolutely add it to your collection. This is not a thrown-together mess: it has multi-language support and full numeral (including fractions!) and punctuation sets. And ligatures. And swashes. And, oh yeah, some script font or something too.

Gatha is free for both personal and commercial use* and you can download it HERE!

* Someday, I’d love to create a font that’s free for commercial but not personal use, just to troll everybody.
