Halfomania: a cool, futuristic sans
I’m consistently impressed by the quality of free fonts on offer at Pixel Surplus.
Seriously, these are fonts that have no business being free, and yet there’s always a great one just around the corner.
Today I came across Halfomania and, once again, I was blown away. Sure, it’s the quintessential futuristic sans typeface, with sharp corners and partial inner/outer strokes, but it’s one of the best implementations of the concept I’ve ever seen.
Halfomania has one weight and no matching italics, which is to be expected in a display font of this style. Still, you’re getting a neat package which, in addition to the letters, contains numerals and some punctuation.
