HELIUK by Fateh.Lab: a neutron star-level condensed sans
I’ll cut right to the chase with this one: I’ve never been this pleasantly surprised by a typeface.
When I first laid my eyes on it, I thought “Wow, now that’s what I call condensed” and immediately went for it. I don’t know why, but condensed stuff is really attractive to me: condensed milk, condensation on glass windows, and condensers (also known as capacitors) in electronics all stir me sexually.
So I went ahead and gladly spent the $15 bucks it costs on Creative Market thinking that the download would only include an all-caps condensed font. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the zip file included five font files, including an Icon font and a Script font, and that clearly those weren’t a “value-add” afterthought but, rather, lovely illustrations and a retro-styled script from heaven.
If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m seriously impressed by this font and I’d suggest you go check it out immediately.
