The Wishlist Archives, Post 4: Lincoln Electric by Canada Type

In the run-up to my third novel’s release, I will be taking a break from the daily font review/daily design format and simply post a typeface from my MyFonts/Creative Market wishlists. These are fonts fonts that I’ve also hand-selected but haven’t purchased and reviewed yet.

I’ll return to my regular post schedule after I hand in my manuscript on December 3rd, 2020!

Today’s From The Wishlist typeface is Lincoln Electric.

From the description:

Lincoln Electric started its life as an in-house experimental film type Thomas Lincoln drew shortly after concluding his work as part of Herb Lubalin’s famed crew in the late 1960s,. The master alphabet was drawn on illustration boards using pen and ink and press-type lines. The typeface was initially made for use in the branding and promotional material of Lincoln’s new design outfit.
