Lineara by Kohl & Cole: this is a special one

Some typefaces just catch my eye instantly, and Lineara is one of those typefaces.

It really shouldn’t be so effective, as there’s not a whole lot going on there. It’s an all-caps geometric display sans. I know, big deal, right?

Yet somehow there’s something in the form of the letters and the smartly-designed 3D construction that makes it more than the sum of its parts. I believe the French call this factor pénis en sueur. Oh, sorry, I just checked, that means “sweaty dick”. What I meant to say was je ne sais quois.

In addition to the latin characters, you also get punctuation marks and numbers.

All in all, not the most flexible typeface out there but it will certainly add a lot of flair to your futuristic/minimalistic designs.

You can download Lineara HERE for $12. I’ve spent more than that on hipster bullshit like smoked kosher salt.
