Favorite fonts #1: Bayshore.

Sam Parrett’s Bayshore is, without a doubt, the eightiest of all the eighties fonts.

Proudly rocking a mohawk, a denim jacket and a Walkman, this is my go-to font whenever I want to add some gaudy, reverb-heavy mood to my designs.

Due to its high legibility, this is a script/display font you’ll be able to use in any number of cases: from book covers and product packaging to concert posters, it won’t let you down.

I find that Bayshore is, bizarrely, best combined with a modern sans set in all caps.

Sam is no stranger to eighties-inspired designs, as his Hot Rush and Starlit Drive typefaces testify. Both of them are also worth checking out.
