Another cute typeface: Tea

I’ll be really quick with today’s font review because an emergency has come up: apparently, a rich millionaire at the resort we are currently staying has died and nobody knows about it, except me and my brother-in-law. Our plan is to take the body, dress it up in hawaiian shirts and sunglasses and carry it with us everywhere, pretending that he’s still alive, so we can be granted access to exclusive events. Boy, I sure hope this doesn’t backfire with hilarious consequences.

Tea is an adorable font by Adilson Gonzales, the designer of my favorite Ailerons. The font is distilled down to the basics: just one weight, no italics and questionable legibility.

‘Questionable legibility? Why would you recommend it, then?’

Well, because it’s AWESOME, obviously. Just don’t set body text with it. Or even display-sized text over three words.

Here’s my quick design of the day

You can download Tea HERE. It’s free for both personal and commercial use.

Now get out of my face. I have some mean tropical bermudas and flip-flops to put on!
