The Adorable Font Bundle by Salt and Pepper Designs: Cuddles

What is up, you crazy mothers?

With the summer in full swing, it’s time for The Daily Typographic to take a break. It won’t be for long (we’ll be back with more content, more features and WAY more expletives on the 24th of August) but for now, as I’m shaking a pina colada like a cool cat, I thought that maybe I should post one last review for you, my loyal reader.

Today’s bundle of joy is an actual bundle (of actual joy) by none other than the magnificent Salt & Pepper Designs, a typeface design studio that I have previously described as the dog’s bollocks.

The Adorable Font Bundle contains 8 typefaces, and all of them are, as you’d expect, adorbs. However, for this post I’ve decided to showcase one that’s super-mega-especially cute, called “Cuddles”

Come on, dude, I mean, it’s called Cuddles. Of course it’s gonna be lovely.

There’s not much to be said about it. It’s cute, it comes in one weight, and it has no italics. But look at it! It looks perfect over the generated image from DALL-E I made using the prompt “a girl sits on a tree with a squirrel in studio ghibli style”

Personally, I cannot see the Studio Ghibli influence, but I can see the girl, the squirrel and the tree so FINE, I guess.

So if you’re in the market for a collection of sweet, whimsical fonts to use for titles, wishing cards, toy packaging or even covers for children’s books, you should definitely give this one a looksie.
