Unspoken by Invasi Studio: a one-in-a-million handwritten font

You may have noticed that I haven’t posted for some time.

Know what it took to bring me back from my constantly scatterbrained approach to absolutely everything and start writing for the blog again?

Your mom.

OK, it wasn’t your mom.

It was Unspoken. Regular readers of the site know that I absolutely HATE handwritten typefaces with a passion. They try to look handwritten, but they’re just a millisecond away from the uncanny valley. If I wanted handwritten anything, I’d handwrite it myself, motherfucker. Or I’d have your mom do it.

I’m sorry, I don’t know what’s with the mom jokes tonight.

Unspoken is different. It says that it’s handwritten, but it’s not trying to mess with your perception of reality. No one will confuse this for handwriting, but it still has a gorgeous, organic feel to it.

It comes in one weight and it has no italics, but it contains a bunch of doodles that do look like they’ve been scribbled down on a notepad. I used one of them in my five-minute design below:

It’s also 40% OFF until the 19th of July, 2021. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
