Wowi: a cute-as-a-cupcake display script font

Hey! I know I said I’d be on vacation for two weeks but what the hell. Sitting next to the pool doing nothing much gets a bit samey after a while.

If you know only one thing about me, you know that I hate big bundles of ‘handwritten’ script fonts. While I can recognize the artistry that goes into (some of) them, I’m still left very unimpressed by most of them.

Imagine, then, how impressed I must be with this script font to not only hit ‘Download’ on Behance but to also find out that it’s a free DEMO version and not a complete font and then subsequently also go to the download page, discovering that I had to place an order and create an account to download the font AND DOING THAT TOO.

Anyway. If Wowi had cheeks, I’d pinch them. If it had a belly, I’d rub it. It’s cute. Extremely cute. I just want to hug its lumpy little letterforms and squeeze them until they burst.
